The Sieroty Company and Eastern Columbia. A proud tradition
of over 100 years in Los Angeles and Southern California.
This enterprise was founded by Adolph Sieroty,
an industrious immigrant to America in the 1890’s. The family’s Eastern
Outfitting and Columbia Outfitting Stores were merged in September 1930 with
the opening of the Eastern Columbia building at 9th and Broadway. This Claud Beelman designed landmark Art Deco structure still reigns
over the area with its glorious green, blue and gold façade crowned by a
hallmark clock tower.
Sieroty Company was incorporated in Californa
on transitioning from retail in the late 1950’s, Julian Sieroty directed the
company’s expansion in the Southern California real estate market. The Sieroty Company, now led by Chairman of the Board Alan Sieroty and President & CEO Evan J. Kaizer, has grown
to include commercial real estate in Los Angeles neighborhoods, with an
additional emphasis on the development and management of industrial
properties in Southern California and Arizona.
